The Bruins will arrive in Halifax on September 22, 2008 with approximately 50 players and personnel and they will spend five days here leaving on September 26, 2008. During their time here they will play two Pre-Season games with one against their perennial rivals the Montreal Canadiens on Monday, September 22,2008 and the other against the Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings on Thursday, September 25,2008 at the Halifax Metro Centre.

"Our players have enjoyed traveling to Halifax in the past for pre-season games, and I am sure that they will be appreciative of the support that they will receive from the great hockey fans of the region when we are there this fall."
